It also applies for the last book you read, if you're not reading anything now. I'm more than halfway through. It's my 2nd favourite so far, after " A Storm of Swords".

Extremely ranty, at times delivered from a perspective that leaves a bit to be desired in terms of percived experience on the part of the author, but still lovably hateful and depressing. Also fucking hilarious.

I'm rereading H.P. Lovecraft "Dreams of Terror and Death" It is always a go to with so many undertones I get a different story every time I read it. I don't think he meant for so many different views on his writings, but I have found many meanings at least for my interpretation, implied or not.

I've had this in my possession for quite some time, but it's only now that I'm getting stuck into it. This is in fact my first serious read of Lovecraft's works. I'm finding his writing quite enjoyable.

I started it a long time ago and finally read the last chapter. Brief presentation: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomacy_(book)It is very well written and argued. It contains plenty of interesting quotes, anecdotes and ideas.

Hello Dead Forum. Since my last post I've read Catch 22 which I thoroughly enjoyed, being my new all time favourite book.
.
And I am now currently 2/3rds of the way through Brave New World.
.
So yeah about 2 books in 4 months, not very good is it tut tut tut. Oh wells, I have 2 more books on the way, as well as 1 more book on the shelf I have yet to read, so see how it all goes. Still needing to catch up on these must read books.

I read a lot of books on the Yom Kippur War, for my thesis (which I finished). The ones most worth mentioning are these: I read half, then got busy. I'll start reading the last part soon. Pausing was a good decision. I'm also reading a book, in Romanian, about propaganda and censorship in communist Romania.

Filled with social commentary, sodomy, mutilation and hate, and written in entirely novel and interesting ways. In other words, I fucking love this book.

So, you should get Opa's address and gift him the book.

Amusing ourselves to death - Neil Postman Abolition of man - C. S. Lewis
And now I've just begun Guns germs and steel by Jared Diamond, which I've been meaning to get to for a while.
