I will give Christ the ultimate test:
Omg, this is horrible! You want people to have AIDS! What if you would have AIDS? [/Jess]
Now, we can only wait.

I like that this new forum isn't fascist. Yet. Not too big on the colour scheme myself, but meh.
I like driving home from work after a nightshift. There's really not much on the roads at 2am, so it can be really pleasant. Especially when the moon is bright but partly obscured by clouds making quite the picturesque scene.

"the moon is bright but partly obscured by clouds" I love how it looks when it's like that.

I actually found someone I can relate to who seems genuine and doesn't dislike me. This is fucking new.

You can choose a different theme from profile>settings. For some really odd reason, I simply could not find the button. I just stumbled upon it a few moments ago. Metro Red was just ugly.

That day where people that hate people that come on boats to Australia celebrate people that came on boats to Australia?

Stop whining and declare Terra nullius. Invade and settle it the hard way like Brittan did. If you're not willing to do that, then play by the sovereign country's laws and come in by its terms.

Australian Navy ships ilegally entered Indonesian waters. This happened multiple times, for various reasons, sometimes by mistake. This can be used as a casus belli and it is a real threat to Indonesia's national security, sovereignty and territorial integrity. Indonesia should attack Australia, destroy some or all of its ships and deter it from ever invading Indonesian territorial waters. #neantherdalunderstandingoftheworld #Ilearnabouttheworldfromplayingvideogames
Pro tip: using "whining" every time you react to someone you disagree with makes you look incredibly clever and make your arguments impregnable and impecable. Keep doing it! Every. Single. Time. If needed, do it twice per sentence.

Let's suspend their aid and threaten to attack any Indonesian craft that strays too close. I mean, if they can do it without condemnation then surly fair's fair right? As far as Australia day goes, every year it's the same. A small group of PC warriors call for a national self-flagellation over events that happened in the 18th century. The past is something to recognise but I decline feel guilty because I was born on a landmass that was acquired by colonialism two centuries ago. What is done is done and if these people truly felt guilty about it then by all means go back to Brittan.

The past is something to recognise but I decline feel guilty because I was born on a landmass that was acquired by colonialism two centuries ago. What is done is done and if these people truly felt guilty about it then by all means go back to Brittan. More specifically "attack any Indonesian craft that strays too close. I mean, if they can do it without condemnation then surly fair's fair right?" Wait, the Indonesian navy has attacked civilian craft from Australia that has strayed into Indonesian waters? "As far as Australia day goes, every year it's the same. A small group of PC warriors call for a national self-flagellation over events that happened in the 18th century." No, I complain about it because nationalism is one of the most annoying forms of collectivism evah. 'Hey, look it me, I fell out of my mum in this particular nationstate and the fact that this nationstate is makes is betterer'.

Australian Navy ships =/= boats with civlians, because military =/= civilian. One can be a casus belli, the other can't. Australia already threatens to attack boats with Indonesian civilians in them. How do you think the Australian Navy escorts boats away? By asking nicely? @"events that happened in the 18th century": Isn't that what Australia Day is about? Btw, just because the invasion started then, it doesn't mean that the effects are over. www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/nov/05/australia-apartheid-alive-aboriginal-history (get over the harsh criticism and focuss on the facts presented) Why shouldn't the Aboriginals call it "Invasion Day" and treat is as such? Why can't other people do it too? There are a lot of Australians that don't descend from Brits. The ones that do, after paying taxes and living in that country their whole loves, should go to the UK if they don't like Australia Day? I said nothing about guilt, so don't straw-man/change the subject (if you were talking about other people or you want to make a side rant, then make it more obvious).

You know what? Pat all that, why is taking another historical perspective on our national holiday upsetting to you? Are you annoyed when friends of mine call it "Dumb, Drunk & Racist Bogan Day" because it first appears that those are the sorta people who party about it the hardest?
